Refund policy

Our returns policy for online purchases

  1. Returns are accepted  within a 14 day period from the delivery date.
  2. It is your responsibility to ensure that the return item arrives with us. We recommend that you send your returns via a recorded / registered / insured delivery method as we cannot refund for items which we have not received. Our address is Community Aid Shop, Church Street, Gort, H91 A586, co. Galway
  3. Items must be returned to us within 14 days of delivery in the condition in which they were received. You should take care when trying on items to ensure that clothing is not stained with fake tan, make-up deodorant etc. Returns received after the 14 day returns period will be sent back at expense of the customer. 
  4. The original invoice/order number has to be included with the return as it speeds up the refund process and makes our life easier. We would appreciate if you let us know which item you'd like to return and the reason why you wish to return it.
  5. Please indicate if you prefer an exchange / store credit or refund for your online return.
  6. We always ensure that the stock images on our website are a 100% true representation of the product however screen resolution can effect its appearance. We are more than happy to provide any further information/measurements  that you may require. 
  7. Please allow up to 1 week for your return to be processed and refunded to your card. If it hasn’t been completed within that time please contact us: community.aid.gort@gmail.com
  8. The returns must be sent back to us in the same condition that you received them.Items marked with make-up, fake tan, other marks / stains, odours of smoke / perfume / bodily odours will NOT be refunded. For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on bodysuits, hair accessories, hats, and jewellery items.
  9. Refunds for returned items will exclude shipping costs.
  10. If you purchased online and returning in the shop please remember that we won’t be able to refund you - it be only possible to exchange or receive a store credit.
