Burren Flower Fairies

Burren Flower Fairies is the creation of Irish illustrator Susan Meaney who lives and works at the edge of the Burren region, Co. Clare with her family, dogs and bees.

On moving here in 2012, she was inspired by the unique landscape and the wildflowers of the Burren to create an illustrated range of cards and gifts based on their natural beauty. Also prevalent in her drawings are the flower fairies, a nod to the fairy folklore so richly ingrained in Irish story telling.

All printed images are original illustrations created and produced in Susan’s own garden studio. 

The love for Irish fairies and flora is widespread and Susan’s illustrations have made it to many parts of the world while her main collection sells in shops throughout Ireland.
