Sustainable Fashion & Charities

The unsustainable business model of fast fashion is polluting our planet, abusing its workers and filling our clothes with hazardous chemicals. Yet people continue to buy from these brands in enormous quantities. And what happens to these cheap, disposable clothes when we no longer want them? 60% of all new clothes being thrown to landfill within one year of being purchased.

According to Oxfam Ireland, 225,000 tonnes of clothing end in landfill in Ireland every year.

Buying used clothes as a preference is one of the best things you can do as you're skipping the production cycle and most importantly, by buying from charity shops your money is going to good causes. It's important to state that the best thing you can do however, is simply reduce your consumption.

Our shop relays on everyday donations and only in small part on vintage section (where all items are handpicked by Agata and shipped 4-6 times a year from Poland)
